Japan's Transgender Man in Public Office

Greetings, Trillificers.

🗣 TRANS LIVES MATTER! And you know who agrees? 25 year-old Japanese politician Tomoya Hosoda. Mr. Hosoda was recently elected to the council in Iruma, Japan, and is believed to be the first openly transgender man elected to office in the entire world. This whole planet, y'all.

Kudos to the people of Iruma for being progressive enough to elect a transgender official. Now if only we could get backwards ass America to stop being worried about where trans people use the bathroom, maybe we could make some progress. *deep sigh*
